traxy lets you search what it says are 71 million LinkedIn likes and comments for leads, but won't say how it got them
traxy, a New York lead-gen startup, launched Social Intent Search on 29 Oct 2026. You type something like "find me founders looking for AEO help" and it returns people who posted, commented on or liked related LinkedIn posts, with their company, an ICP match and the post itself as evidence. It works in the traxy app and in Claude or ChatGPT through traxy's MCP server. It costs $149/month after a 7-day free trial. traxy says the database holds more than 71 million engagements it "scanned" over a couple of months. That number is its own and can't be checked.
Why it mattersFinding people who publicly asked for help with what you sell is a smart prospecting idea. But traxy doesn't disclose how it collected the LinkedIn data, and LinkedIn's User Agreement (section 8.2) bans scraping and copying its data. traxy's terms put LinkedIn account risk on you. In the UK and EU you also need a legitimate-interests case (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), must tell people where you found them in your first message (Art. 14) and stop when they object (Art. 21). PECR regulation 22 means cold LinkedIn DMs to sole traders need consent. Our check rates it as partly fact. We haven't tested it.
