Can Grok Bot really run six prospecting agents? A viral LinkedIn "prospecting machine" checked
Lead-gen creator Manthan Patel says he turned Grok Bot into six agents that find companies and decision-makers, research them, spot people engaging with industry posts, find their emails and phone numbers, then score and rank them. He says it's free, but the post's graphic ends with "Comment SEND and I'll DM you", and it names Gojiberry's MCP as the data source. Gojiberry is a paid LinkedIn prospecting tool. Update 4 Nov: what commenters receive is a Notion guide written by Gojiberry's co-founder that promotes Gojiberry's free trial, not a system of his own.
Why it mattersGrok Bot can run several Bots that hand work to each other, so the structure is real. Research, scoring and ranking are things it does well. But the LinkedIn engagement data and contact details come from a paid outside service, and collecting them with your own bot breaks LinkedIn's terms. In the UK, UK GDPR and PECR also apply to the outreach. He has promoted Gojiberry before without an ad label, and the lead numbers are his. Update 4 Nov: the 'free system' turned out to be Gojiberry's own marketing guide, handed out with no ad label. It doesn't include his six agents, and it says itself that Grok Bot needs Gojiberry for the intent data. '30 demos a week' is Gojiberry's own claim. Our check still rates it partly fact. We haven't tested it. Disclosure: this site uses Grok Bot to help run it, and Sara's company's product Cora works with Grok.
