fx0: Vercel's free 'mini v0' for one-page prototypes
Fact, with a little framing: fx0 is a real open-source design agent from Vercel Labs that turns a description into a single HTML page you can preview, version, copy, download or fork, and it mainly exists to show off libfx, the agent library behind Vercel's fx coding agent, which can now carry on after a crash or timeout. It isn't Vercel's v0 product, and the '200+ models' are simply the Vercel AI Gateway catalogue. 'Free to try' means free to fork: the hosted demo asks you to sign in with Vercel and pay the model costs through your own AI Gateway account.
Why it mattersIt's handy for a 10-minute landing-page or pricing-page mock-up for a client pitch. For full apps, stick with v0, Lovable or Replit.
