DeepSeek Harness shows off Creator mode: describe a plugin in chat and the agent builds it
DeepSeek's own agent app, DeepSeek Harness, is promoting Creator mode: you describe what you want, such as a design workspace, a small sandbox game or a 3D view of how an LLM works, and the agent writes, installs and checks the plugin inside the app. This is official DeepSeek: the app lives on deepseek.com and in DeepSeek's GitHub, and the main @deepseek_ai account reposted the launch. It's free and open source (MIT), and you pay only for the model, by default DeepSeek's API.
Why it mattersIt's an "everything is a plugin" approach: you grow the app yourself instead of waiting for features. But Creator mode isn't new (it has been in the preview since September), and the plugins it builds run as code on your computer with wide access, so start in a test setup. Our check rates the claim fact.
