What's new in Grok Bot: shopping cards, order tracking, payments, custom modes and Team Bot logins

2 November 2026, 18:37 · 3 sources · Curated by Sara Simeone

Matt Palmer, who works on Cursor and Grok Bot at SpaceXSI, posted a 4-minute tour of recent Grok Bot features. Per Grok Bot's official changelog (version 0.78, 27 Oct), shopping results now show as product cards with photos, rating, price and store. Product pages offer Buy now, which starts an order you approve, and the Bot then tracks the order and tells you when it ships or arrives. You can connect Shop Pay in the Vault's Payments tab. Bots can also start cloud agents in a custom mode you name. Managers can add logins to a Team Bot's own Vault, and share settings show who has access. A Team Bot routine that needs one of your connectors asks in its Slack thread, and Vault contacts can hold several emails and phone numbers.

Why it mattersGrok Bot is moving from research and admin into buying things for you: finding products, placing orders you approve, paying and tracking delivery. Team features make shared Bots easier to set up and control. As always, purchases still need your approval, so check what you sign off.
