Craft Anything: a free, open-source app that has your own Claude Code rebuild a website, app or game
ArtCraft, the team behind open-source look-alikes of Photoshop and Word, has released Craft Anything (early alpha). You point it at a website, an app or a game and describe what you want. It studies the original, has the Claude Code on your own computer build your own version, then compares the two and refines the result. By default it works only from what a visitor can see, not the original's code. It's free and open source, and runs as a desktop app, a command-line tool or an MCP server for other agents.
Why it mattersIt shows how cheap copying software is getting. But it isn't "free from Anthropic", as the launch implied: it runs on your own Claude Code account, so Anthropic's rules and your bill still apply. Copying a product's look and branding also carries legal risk. Our check rates the launch claims partly fact.
