AI CLI: make images, video and audio from any coding agent

4 November 2026, 00:18 · 2 sources · Curated by Sara Simeone

Chris Tate's free ai-cli ('npm i -g ai-cli') adds simple commands such as 'ai image', 'ai video' and 'ai audio speak' that any coding agent can call, with any model you have a key for (for example Claude Code with Flux, or Codex with Gemini). It uses Vercel's AI Gateway or your own provider keys, so you pay for the models you use.

Why it mattersHandy if you already use a coding agent and want it to produce visuals or voice-overs for a page or post without switching tools. Developer-level set-up.
