Phone Harness lets AI agents drive cloud iPhones and Androids
Phone Harness is a hosted MCP server: add one URL to Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex or Grok and your agent can screenshot, tap, swipe, type and open apps on a cloud phone. The client code is MIT-licensed on GitHub (628 stars, one developer, about two weeks old). Android costs 5¢ a minute and an iPhone $80-100 a month, per the company. Fact or hype: Partly fact. The tools are real, but "real iPhones" and reliability aren't independently checked.
Why it mattersPhone-only apps have been a blind spot for agents, and this removes the setup pain. But you're handing an agent a logged-in phone through a third-party cloud: screen text can hijack the agent, and an eSIM phone can receive 2FA codes. We haven't tested it hands-on. No connection to Phone Harness.
