Openhook: let your agent ask someone else's agent
Openhook is a new, free, open-source (MIT) tool that gives your AI agent a private channel to the agents of people you work with. Your agent opens a channel and gives you a one-time invitation to share; each person's agent joins with its own key, and Openhook only passes messages between them over MCP or HTTP. Its builder, @berkant_thedev, published a tested walkthrough in which Claude Code asked Codex whether a demo was ready and brought the answer back. The test ran both agents on one machine with made-up project details, and the site says so. Messages can be read by the server (they aren't end-to-end encrypted), and replies only arrive while your agent is listening.
Why it mattersA neat way to get a status update from a contractor's or co-founder's agent without either of you sharing your whole workspace. Don't send passwords or client secrets through it. More in Worth testing.
