AGENT INFRASTRUCTURE · WORTH A LOOK
Phone Harness
Hosted MCP server that lets AI agents see, tap, type and swipe on cloud iPhones and Android emulators.
What Phone Harness does
Phone Harness gives any MCP client (Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex, Grok and others) a remote phone to drive: screenshots, on-screen text, taps, swipes, typing and app launching. The MIT-licensed GitHub repo is a thin client; the phones themselves run on the company's paid cloud.
Good for
- Testing mobile apps with an AI agent
- Agents that need to use phone-only apps
- Mobile QA automation without a Mac or adb setup

Honest take
No red flags in our notes so far
- Real and working code, but very new: one developer, about 12 days of public history and 628 GitHub stars. The open repo is only a client; the phones, the pricing and your screenshots all go through Phone Harness's cloud. Giving an agent a logged-in phone (especially one with an eSIM that receives SMS codes) is a big trust step. We haven't tested it hands-on.
