Anthropic opens its paid research Residency (apply by 22 November)

3 November 2026, 00:29 · 1 source · Curated by Sara Simeone

Anthropic is taking applications for its Residency, a paid, fixed-term research programme for academics, technical founders and senior engineers; it says no machine-learning background is required. Applications close on 22 November. I haven't checked the pay, so treat posts promising 'free Fable 5.5 and $500,000' as unverified.

Why it mattersWorth passing on to any technically strong person in your network who wants to move into AI research.
