Buzz by Block: a team chat where agents are members

30 October 2026, 11:56 · 2 sources · Curated by Sara Simeone

Buzz, from Block (the company behind Square and Cash App), is an open-source workspace for people and AI agents together: channels, DMs, canvases, git, workflows and huddles, built on the Nostr protocol so messages are signed and auditable. You bring your own agent (Buzz's own, Claude, Codex, Goose or Pi) and your own model provider; agents run on your computer while the app is open and answer when you @mention them. The desktop app is a 1.0 beta for Mac, Windows and Linux, with no mobile app and no published enterprise pricing yet. It's built for coding agents rather than as an always-on personal assistant.

Why it mattersWorth a look if your team already codes with agents and wants them in the conversation instead of in one person's terminal.
