4 November 2026, 00:20 · 2 sources · Curated by Sara Simeone

Microsoft's .NET team showed how a NuGet package can bundle SKILL.md files that match the library's version, and a 'dotnet-package-skills install' command copies them into your project's .agents/skills folder so coding agents use the right instructions for that version. Microsoft warns to install skills only from maintainers you trust.

Why it mattersIf your business sells a developer tool or API, shipping a skill alongside it is becoming a simple way to make AI agents use your product correctly.
