Mistral shows 133 agents finding and fixing a real security bug
Mistral posted a demo of its open model Large 4 running 133 agents on Django, a popular web framework. The agents mapped the code, hunted for flaws, tested attack scenarios and confirmed a recent known vulnerability, then the model wrote the patch. The video is sped up 90 times. Separately, Large 4 joined Open Math OS, a shared research workspace for mathematicians and AI agents built only on open models.
Why it mattersIt is a concrete picture of agent teams doing security triage on code you can self-host, but it is Mistral's own demo on a bug that was already public. Treat it as a sign of what's possible, not proof it will find new flaws in your app.
