Three lessons from rebuilding computers for AI agents

1 source · Part of the 24 October 2026 edition

@Saboo_Shubham_ shared what he learned rebuilding compute for agents: assume the model will make mistakes, so its sandbox should hold nothing an attacker could use; and since agents spend most of their time waiting, an idle agent should cost close to nothing and wake up fast.

Why it mattersGood rules for anyone running agents for clients: no real passwords or customer data in the agent's workspace, and pick tools that don't bill you while the agent sits idle.
