Mike Futia: ScaleBot Reddit research into ad angles
A ~7-minute genuine UI screencast from Mike Futia's own account (@mikefutia) of ScaleBot (tryscalebot.ai), his own product: set Research focus to Customer voice / Reddit, ask for pain-point ad angles with exact quotes and thread links, spot-check those quotes on the live Reddit threads, then develop one angle into a campaign brief. Verdict: self-promotion, but a repeatable customer-voice research workflow; beginner level, no coding — natural language and UI only. Preconfigured brand context (ad accounts and reviews) materially helps the output. We haven't tested ScaleBot ourselves. Pricing isn't shown. The demo is supplement marketing: treat anecdotes and AI 'product mechanisms' as research notes, not clinical evidence, and don't reuse Reddit quotes as testimonials without rights. Four practical steps below.
Try this
- In ScaleBot, set Research focus → In category → Customer voice Reddit, then Done. 0:41
- Ask for customer pain-point ad angles backed by exact quotes and links to the original threads. 1:15
- Open each cited Reddit thread and check the quote matches (Ctrl+F) before you trust it. 3:08
- Pick one angle and develop it into a campaign brief inside the product. 5:41

Cost
ScaleBot is paid; pricing isn't shown in the video. The quote-checking habit works without ScaleBot if you gather Reddit comments yourself.
