What Explee does

Explee (Explee LTD, London, founded 2024, seed-funded) is an AI outbound sales agent. You give it your website; it works out what you sell and who is likely to buy, picks contacts from a database it says covers 105M+ companies, writes personalised cold emails, sends them from its own pre-warmed mailboxes rather than your domain, follows up, and sends your booking link when someone wants a call. You can also upload your own contact list.

Good for

  • B2B founders without a salesperson
  • Testing cold email without setting up domains and mailboxes
  • Reaching small businesses that are hard to find on LinkedIn

    Honest take

No red flags in our notes so far

    • Results figures (median $9 per 'hot lead', 87% get a first hot lead within a week) are Explee's own; a 'hot lead' is a positive reply, not a sale. Independent reviews are mixed (about 3.6/5 on Trustpilot).
    • Heavily promoted on X through identical copy-paste posts with no ad disclosure in the text; judge it by your own test, not the hype.
    • UK users: cold marketing email to sole traders and partnerships needs consent under PECR regulation 22, and every email must identify the sender and offer an opt-out.
