ego(lite): let Claude Code browse websites for you (a polished vendor promo)

Watched in full (56 seconds). It's a slick promo made by the ego(lite) team and reshared by @kimmonismus, not his own screencast, and his thread uses a referral link, so it may be sponsored. Claude Code is asked to research the pricing and AI features of Cursor, Windsurf and Zed and return a comparison table; the edit jumps from the first pricing page straight to a perfect table, skipping the messy part, and the 'fastest browser for AI agents' claim isn't benchmarked. The agent uses your logged-in sessions, so try it on a clean browser profile. Verdict: a believable task shown at its very best. Intermediate level: you need to be comfortable installing Claude Code in a terminal, but no coding to run the prompt. It has seven real things to test.

Try this

  1. Start the browser agent from Claude Code with the /ego-browser command. 00:05
  2. Ask in plain English for research across several named websites, and force the output into a table with the columns you want. 00:06
  3. Run each agent job in its own sandboxed 'Space' so it stays separate from your own browsing. 00:15
  4. Watch the labelled agent cursor to see what it's doing as it works. 00:20
  5. Use Take over or Stop as soon as it heads the wrong way. 00:23
  6. Keep working in your own window while the agent runs in the background. 00:24
  7. Read the short scripts it writes and runs if you want to see how it collected the data. 00:43
