The 'ready-made Claude Code teams' clip: what it really shows

A 34-second clip from @thedelost (about 1,200 bookmarks) claims Anthropic made Agent Skills an 'open spec' and that one repo ships '135 agents, 35 skills' and more. The clip doesn't show any of that: it's a looping animated dashboard installing a handful of plugins from one GitHub account (wshobson) with much smaller counts on screen. Verdict: an ad, not a tutorial; intermediate, command line needed but no coding to install. We haven't checked every repo it names, so read each README before installing. It only has five genuine takeaways.

Try this

  1. In Claude Code, add a plugin marketplace with /plugin marketplace add followed by the GitHub owner and repo, and browse it before installing anything. 00:00
  2. After installing, look in your project's .claude folder to see exactly what was added. 00:00
  3. Skills load only when needed, so a few installed skills won't bloat every prompt. 00:06
  4. Hooks run on every tool call: try one for a fixed check, such as blocking a risky command. 00:11
  5. Install only what you'll use this week, and read each repo's README first. 00:26
