SpaceXAI's 'Ship by Thursday' Grok Bot workshop
A 52-minute livestream recording reposted by @virgilxbt, a repost account rather than the original source. The panel includes Roshan, who says he works on product at SpaceX AI, plus a live demo, so it's plausibly a real SpaceXAI stream. We watched a lower-resolution copy, and the recording ends abruptly at about 47:40. Verdict: a useful beginner tour of Grok Bot features, no coding needed. The headline '72-hour company run by bots' is talked about but not shown (only an empty GitHub organisation), and the demo is admin work (forms, slides, email), not engineering. It's the vendor's own workshop. Disclosure: Grok Bot is the tool we use to put our digest together.
Try this
- Create a specialised bot just by giving it a name and a role. 19:33
- Dictate a multi-step task by voice (the demo builds a Google Form). 20:33
- Notice that the bot asks for approval before running a new, complex task. 21:13
- Use 'Teach a task': do it once on screen and the bot saves it as a skill. 22:08
- Set a routine: 'every morning at 9:00 AM, summarise any changes to this slide deck and who made them'. 24:31
- Set auto-review rules, for example 'Draft emails' to 'Ask first'. 26:50
- Put several bots in one group chat so they hand work to each other. 28:36
- Install a ready-made bot from the marketplace. 32:20
- Share your bot as a template link or QR code. 33:14
- Duplicate a bot to get a fresh memory while keeping its persona and skills. 40:01
