Rerun
AI "coworkers" that run recurring work on their own cloud computer, using your apps, a browser and your Claude or ChatGPT plan. The code is open source (AGPL-3.0); the hosted version is paid.
What Rerun does
Rerun lets a team set up AI "coworkers" (sales, support, research, inbox and CRM jobs) that run on a schedule, on a trigger or on demand. Each workspace gets its own machine, so coworkers keep files and memory between runs, use a browser and connected apps (MCP servers, Composio), and stop to ask before anything consequential. Since 29 Oct 2026 the main app has been on GitHub under AGPL-3.0, and you can host it yourself for free with Docker, Supabase and your own model keys. Rerun Cloud is the same code, hosted, plus paid extras: LinkedIn and WhatsApp automation, paid data, the template library, email and the iOS app. It is made by Reunit SA in Luxembourg, a two-person team (Clément Janssens and Théo Louro).

No red flags in our notes so far
- It is open source, but not "fully": LinkedIn and WhatsApp automation, paid data, the template library, emails and the iOS app are Rerun Cloud only.
- "Free" means self-hosting (Docker, Supabase, your own model keys; community support only). The hosted service is a 5-day trial that needs a card, then $29/month.
- Signing in with a Claude Pro/Max plan uses Claude Code's private sign-in, by Rerun's own code comments. Anthropic's published Claude Code terms say third-party apps may not offer Claude.ai login or store users' session tokens, so this route could break or put your Claude account at risk. The ChatGPT route also copies the Codex CLI's sign-in rather than OpenAI's official Sign in with ChatGPT programme. An API key is the safer choice.
- Young and small: a two-person company in Luxembourg, the code went public on 29 Oct 2026 and the X account was 4 days old at launch. Claims such as 2,000+ users and 3,000+ integrations are Rerun's own.
- Automating a LinkedIn account (posts, invites) can break LinkedIn's rules and get the account restricted.
