What OpenShip does

Open-source, self-hostable application deployment platform (a Vercel/Heroku-style alternative) with managed cloud servers. Deploy from Git or a local folder, with domains/HTTPS, logs and metrics, CI actions, preview environments, rollbacks and scoped access tokens; deploys can be driven from Claude, Cursor or any MCP client. Self-hosted email is also available (managed email 'coming soon').

Good for

  • Host vibe-coded or client apps on your own server or a cheap managed server
  • Let coding agents deploy via MCP
  • Avoid per-seat hosting fees for teams

Try this in 10 minutes

  1. Host vibe-coded or client apps on your own server or a cheap managed server. Use the free plan: pick one real example from your own business and try just that.
  2. Let coding agents deploy via MCP. Put the result next to how you do it today. Is it faster, cheaper or better?
  3. Avoid per-seat hosting fees for teams. Note what you had to fix by hand before you'd show it to a customer.
