Matt Pocock: make good code the only path for your agent
Matt Pocock (@mattpocockuk) argues that with coding agents you can make your guardrails (types, tests, lint rules) as strict as you like, because agents don't get annoyed by them, so design the project so the only way through is the right way. He also shared a /pr skill that writes pull-request summaries with evidence and a merge-risk rating.
Why it mattersStrict automatic checks beat ever-longer prompts. If an agent builds for you, ask your developer which checks run on every change.
