After a week of AI-assisted attacks (the PHP flaw, the Railway breach and the reported Latin American bank attacks), Jason Clinton, a senior security leader at Anthropic, posted that things are going to get a lot worse before they get better, and urged security leaders to ask their boards for help with the basics and hold on for roughly 18 months. Posts describe his exact title differently, so we've kept it general.
