@mattpocockuk: a one-prompt guardrail for AI-written code
Matt Pocock's prompt of the day asks your coding agent to create a check that blocks any file over about 5,000 tokens from being committed, skipping files people didn't write by hand, and to explain in the error message how to split the file. He calls it the simplest investment he's made in his codebase.
Why it mattersAgents tend to grow huge files that get harder for them, and you, to work with. This is a five-minute fix to keep an AI-built app maintainable.
