HYPE OR FACT? · CHECKED 1 NOVEMBER 2026

'11 income streams you can run with Grok Bot', with the exact prompts

OUR VERDICT

Partly fact

Our original verdict: “Fact or hype: partly fact. The how-to is accurate and unusually honest about risk. The 'income streams' framing is the hype: it shows no earnings, and the piece is marked #ad, so it's sponsored content.”

THE CLAIM

“"How to create streams of income with Grok Bot." The X Article sets out 11 side businesses you can run with Grok Bot, each with setup steps, full prompts, risks and how to measure results, plus a 30-day plan.”

What’s actually true

  • The Grok Bot features it relies on are real: web research, drafting, scheduled routines, connected tools such as Google Sheets, Buffer and Canva, and helper bots for separate jobs.
  • The 11 setups are ordinary freelance and side-business models: a social page for brand deals, a reselling lead scanner, a faceless channel, web design, consulting, digital templates, a newsletter or niche site, support and booking bots for local businesses, CV and LinkedIn rewrites, tutoring or courses, and translation with human review. Grok Bot speeds up the research and drafting; it doesn't supply the clients.
  • It is refreshingly careful. It says results vary and nothing is a promise of income, keeps a human approving anything public or paid, tells you to follow platform rules and disclose #ad and AI use, never to invent stats, and not to scrape where it's prohibited.
  • The hype is in the framing. 'Income streams' suggests money coming in, but the article shows no earnings, and most of these take months to build an audience or clients, or need real skill (design, consulting, teaching, translation).
  • It's sponsored. The article carries #ad tags, and the author (136k followers; bio: 'Publicly made $30M on-chain', building projects with Grok Bot) has a stake in the product. Read it as a well-made promotion, not an independent review.
  • Compare today's 'first million' SEO post, which we rated Hype: that one promised money and leaned on outdated facts. This one promises a method and is honest about the work, which is why it gets 'Partly fact'.

Cost

The prompts are free. You need a Grok Bot plan, plus any paid tools you connect (e.g. Buffer or Canva), and above all your own time and skills.

USE IT IF

People who already have a skill or an audience and want a structured way to turn it into a side business, with Grok Bot doing the research, drafts and scheduling.

SKIP IT IF

Anyone expecting passive income from prompts alone, or wanting to skip the human review the article itself insists on.
