HYPE OR FACT? · CHECKED 24 OCTOBER 2026
An AI motion graphics starter kit (Instagram reel)
OUR VERDICT
Partly factOur original verdict: “Fact or hype? Mostly fact.”
THE CLAIM
“'AI can make the motion graphics now, but it still needs your taste': a list of tools for AI motion graphics, from an Instagram reel by Mariah Brunner (AI with Mariah).”
What’s actually true
- We couldn't play the reel itself, so we checked the sites it names, and they're real and mostly free.
- Prompt Motion is a free gallery of Claude Opus motion videos with the prompt behind each; React Bits offers free animated React components you can use commercially but can't resell; Eyecandy is a free library of visual techniques for video prompts.
- Savee's connector for Claude and Cursor (the Savee MCP) is only on paid plans. MotionSites, also on the list, was left out: most of its prompts are paid and its 'founding members' countdown discount appears to reset.

Cost
Prompt Motion, React Bits and Eyecandy are free; Savee Pro (with the MCP connector) is $9 a month billed yearly.
USE IT IF
Founders and marketers making launch videos or animated pages without a designer.
SKIP IT IF
Anyone who'd pay for MotionSites because of its countdown.
